Andean Grains

Product description

Quinoa, amaranth, chia and canihua are among the great treasures of the Andes—domesticated over centuries and capable of thriving at altitudes above 4 000 m. These grains condense remarkable levels of protein, fibre, vitamins and minerals, and are increasingly sought after by health‑focused consumers worldwide. Villa Andina works directly with smallholder farmers in Ayacucho, La Libertad, Andahuaylas and Puno to build a short, robust supply chain. Close crop monitoring and strict traceability reduce the risk of cross‑contamination and allow us to trace every lot back to the farmers who grew it. Using first‑class cleaning and processing technology, we ensure optimal purity and microbiological safety. From farm to table, Villa Andina delivers a risk‑free product and a reliable supply chain.

Why choose Villa Andina’s Andean grains?

Andean grains provide manufacturers and foodservice providers with high‑quality, nutrient‑dense ingredients that meet growing demand for plant‑based, gluten‑free and functional foods. They are rich in complete proteins, dietary fibre, antioxidants and essential minerals, and have a low glycaemic index. Their versatility allows them to be used whole, as flours, flakes, puffed or toasted, adding nutritional and textural value to cereals, bakery products, snacks and beverage blends.
